CWI coaching techniques focus on a cutting edge, highly rewarding technique known as Beyond Goals coaching.
Old-fashioned goal-setting techniques are proven to have a high failure rate: take New Year’s resolutions as an example. Instead imagine mapping from strength to strength, and then going beyond into the best possible desired outcomes.
Beyond Goals Coaching focuses on more than just the classic state of “what’s missing” and “let’s fix that” and “let’s add that in”.
Beyond Goals Coaching models a positively stated desired outcome that elegantly transitions one from hesitation to action by using an achievable and recognizable “next step” model which preserves the best elements for why a goal is being pursued, while generating a felt sense of satisfaction and renewed motivation with each successful next step along the way.
Jim learned the basics of this approach from Master Coach John Overdurf, co-creator of Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology. This unique multi-disciplined approach is synthesized for CWI’s clients to enjoy a rapid and direct success experience. A combination of studies has created this, including: in-person training with Dr. Richard Bandler (Society of NLP), advanced trainings through the Coach Training Alliance in Social & Emotional Intelligence (ISEI), direct application of certain elements of Dr. William Glasser’s Choice Theory; and generative techniques in guided imagery, hypnotherapy, precision language, and incorporated elements of ancient mindfulness practices.
Clients who have experienced this amazingly effective goal-achievement toolkit not only avoid the frustration of repeated false starts and disheartening failures. They go back into their lives feeling empowered, connected to their mission, and experiencing greater degrees of harmony and success with their desired outcomes, and those with whom they find themselves in key relationships.
Life reorientation work with Jim can focus on almost any specific issue. Or the focus can be to identify, create, and learn new habits, thoughts and behaviors that offer more rewarding experiences.
“Your mind is more than what you think,” says Jim. ”It’s fun to discover and learn! Here’s where your strength can really be found. Powerful resources await within that you can use, now, to turn disadvantage to advantage, move you from strength to strength.”
Jim learned as a youth from the works of his great uncle, Reverend Alden Truesdell, who specialized in what was known by followers around the world as the “Healing Treatment”. From this early exposure to generative hypnotic techniques, Jim began learning, using, and teaching advanced techniques in managing the unconscious mind for change.
A lifelong learner and entrepreneur, Jim first used advanced NLP rapport techniques as a full-time business consultant in the early 1990′s. Since then, and for over 15 years, Jim has studied, trained in, and now teaches the methods of Dr. Richard Bandler and the Society of NLP. Starting ten years ago, Jim taught seminars for Fred Pryor and CareerTrack, specializing in professional development, management skills, and their famous, NLP-filled one-day seminar: “Dealing with Difficult People”.
Across the US and in the UK, Jim’s personal development instruction has trained hundreds of people in individual and seminar settings to use business and interpersonal techniques that begin immediately to transform the future.
Jim continues to fully appreciate that success, happiness, positive change, and increasing well-being are best approached at the
